DJ Earworm Mashup – United State of Pop 2011 (World Go Boom)
2011 has been a fantastic year for music. So many amazing pop, Indie, Rock and electric acts. There were too many artists/albums to pick our favorites of the year (although Adele and Florence and the Machine were among my favorites).
I’ve been looking forward to this mash-up for sometime, and again, DJ Earworm does not disappoint. Here’s his amazing mash-up made up of the 25 biggest songs of 2011:

I’ve been waiting and hoping this footage would be released….
In 2009, I saw Fran Healy and Andy Dunlop of Travis at the Largo in LA during the A Chronological Acoustical Journey Through The Travis Back Catalogue tour. It was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. It was a fantastic mix of the amazing acoustic Travis songs with an anecdote about each song. There were also graphics, and lots of jokes. After the show, Fran and Andy hung around – greeting and meeting fans. They also released a bootleg cd from the shows. It was a fantastic and magical night. A definitely highlight for all Travis and Fran Healy fans.
I caught up with Fran when he was opening for Brandon Flowers, and he mentioned they had recorded the last night of the A Chronological Acoustical Journey Through The Travis Back Catalogue tour. He mentioned that the video was already edited and done, but that they didn’t have any plans to release it…
