I’ve seen Natasha a few times, including a show in November where she debuted songs from Strip Me, and she’s fantastic live. She’s got amazing stage presence, and a powerful voice that is effortless and crisp. She’s doesn’t need auto-tune to sound amazing. She’s one of several artists that sound as good, if not better, in live and acoustic settings. Hearing everything acoustic and with “Less Is More” is going to be amazing.

The Deluxe Version of Strip Me contained several “Less Is More” versions of the songs, including this amazing version of “Run, Run, Run”.

Out Now: Andy Grammer – Andy Grammer EP

Andy Grammer‘s songs “Keep Your Head Up” is taking off, getting airplay and seeping into people’s consciousness. It’s bursting with positivity and is a feel good jam. And it’s catchy, real, uplifting, and inspiring. His music and message is reminiscent of Jason Mraz. I recently created a playlist of positive and inspiring songs, (there aren’t that many!), and “Keep You Head Up” is definitely on it, and often the only song on repeat.

Andy just released a four track EP and is set to release his debut album in June. The EP starts with “Keep Your Head Up”, and is followed by “Ladies”, a song about Andy treating women the way his mom taught him. “I promise you that you’re going to miss me when I’m gone”, he proclaims in “Miss Me”. The EP closes with “Fine By Me”, a great love that will have you singing along after just one listen.

In addition to his great voice, clever songwriting and lyrics,  Andy’s music is positive and real. The airwaves are infiltrated with great sounding songs that have no substance or worse, have horrible messages, explicit and subliminal. We need more songs like “Keep Your Head Up” and “Ladies”, and less crap like {insert most mainstream songs}.

It’s great to see talented musicians like Andy Grammer and John West succeeding in their dreams and goals. They’ve been paying their dues for some time now, honing their craft and fostering a fanbase; and are finally getting the recognition their talents and music deserves.

Interactive Video for Andy Grammer’s “Keep Your Head Up”

I found myself singing Andy Grammer‘s “Keep Your Head Up” (twitter/myspace) as it’s such a great and positive song. You can’t help but smile and be uplifted when you hear it. And as I was gleefully singing it, I realized I never got to posting the song and cool interactive video a few weeks ago… whoopsie. My Bad.

The music video is quite fun and features a cameo by Dwight Schrute Rainn Wilson.

But there’s an interactive music video which is even more fun! During several points in the video you’re prompted to pick the next scenario for Andy. It’s interesting and another innovative interactive music video advancement.

And here’s a live performance of the tune:
